However, this has made me think that perhaps it&apos;s time to revisit our profile statement about community purpose and goals, which has been three very short sentences long for the last few months.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The following is my current re-draft of the statement; if you have thoughts, please holler.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;This is a comm for cycling-related discussions -- rides, routes, advocacy, squee, equipment, technology, whatever.  Although the name is &quot;bicycles,&quot; we welcome conversation about any kind of human-powered wheeled-and-geared transport. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Your friendly moderator reserves the right to moderate in my basically-reasonable way.  YFM is not necessarily watching all threads at all times, so please PM if there&apos;s a situation happening which you think would be improved by my intervention.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Please feel free to make an introductory post telling us about yourself, your bike(s), and where and how you use them!
