Yep - though so far it seems to be a US-only feature. Of course it's not like I even have a bike today (mine got stolen yesterday, poo!), but I applaud the idea in principle, and am eagerly awaiting the European version so I can pester my friends to ride more without having to explain to them in great and meandering detail why the bike route to Point B is as quirky as it is :)
And since I need a bike to get around, I've gone and bought a replacement. Almost identical, with a less cool bell, a cooler colour scheme, a bigger lock, and a Sith curse on it to scare thieves away!!
Yeah, I was all "who steals a damn puddlejumper?" but apparently somebody thought her worthy of the effort of smashing the lock into tiny pieces... ah well. Her successor is already downstairs, equipped with a bigger lock and a truly Sithly colour scheme - metallic blood red and black. That should scare 'em off.
I guess it's U.S. only, atm, but I remember when giving directions to cars was in beta in the U.S. only, and it wasn't long before it expanded. So here's hoping for a speedy implementation!
